What We Do

TEDSOL was launched in August 2009 after receiving a grant from Taiwan's Ministry of Education to develop new and creative ways to teach English.

In fact, we don't "teach" language very much. Most of our students already know most of what they need, their problem is to use that language effectively. Our approach is to require students to use English to complete tasks that are interesting and engaging, fun, and also useful to them in their future careers. Our activities teach problem-solving, presentation skills, systems analysis, engineering, marketing, teamwork, cultural isses, and much much more.

We  provide training courses to a variety of schools and universities, and also operate our own classes at various locations in and around Taipei. In addition, we are developing web-based teaching materials for launch in 2010.

Our Mission

Our mission is very simple: We aim to enable our students to reach their full potential, not only in English, but in their whole lives, to give them control over their destinies.
